Hello. I'm Tracey L'isle
Photography is an extension of my soul - forever drawn to love, light and genuine, meaningful connection. I believe the most beautiful images tell stories that feel timeless, romantic and sweetly nostalgic. From weddings and family moments to intimate portraits and fine art, I photograph with heart and intention. I am based on the West Coast in the Western Cape, South Africa, but my heart and camera is always willing to travel wherever your story unfolds.

What types of photography services do you offer?
I am a wedding, portrait and fine art photographer. Portraits include family, couples/engagments/proposals, maternity, newborn/baby, older kids, graduates. I specialize in capturing meaningful moments and creating stunning visual stories. Other photography services include real estate photography, as well as retouching/editing.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I am open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
How do I book a photography session with you?

How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours, while events and weddings can span several hours. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
What are the steps after we fill out the form?
I have listed the steps further below on this page, however, I will also guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
We don't have a set date yet, can we still message you?
Yes. Please do. I understand that selecting a photographer to tell your story in way that captures your essence, can be very daunting, so no matter what type of session your are planning, or even just contemplating, you're welcome to message me and let's get to know each other.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 2-3 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. If a coffee table book / album is included in your package, the entire process to include editing and designing, typically takes approximately 6 weeks.

HOW TO BOOK
1. Fill out form
To book me for your wedding or portrait session simply fill out the form on my contact page or email me directly at info@traceylislephotography.co.za
It is not always possible for me to respond immediately, however, I will be in touch within 2 business days ;-)
2. Sign Contract
We will schedule a consultation to discuss your needs and help me understand your story. My top priority is to create a personalised experience, unique to you, from start to finish.
After your date has been secured and your package selected, we finalise everything with a signed contract.
3. The Big Day
The big day! Breathe. Relax. Let the magic unfold. Whether it's your wedding day, or a portrait session, I'll be there to focus on capturing all the special moments whilst blending into the background and if you are anything like me and feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, I will gently guide you into poses that feel natural and relaxed. My aim is to capture emotion and to ensure that the beauty within reflects in my lens.
4. Photos & Prints
Each package includes a free Client Gallery as well as a free Mobile Client Gallery, for your convenience. You will be able to download your photos directly from your gallery and/or order prints and more.
